Is anyone else on board interested in this subject? I need to do some reading about it, does anyone have recommendations?

It is an interesting word, and has surfaced in use in the art world over the last decade. Below is it in the context of art. It may help.

Yes, I have all the works of Heidegger as ontology is the study of Being as such first introduced by Parmenides then Aristotle. It is the backbone of phenomenology. Raised on Humean philosophy I find ontology's tedious arguments only to lead in circles with textbooks of word definitions and references. But now and then I love to get lost in hyper-Being. A good introduction is Heidegger's Introduction to Metaphysics.
