Do you trust a doctor to be impartial and without any bias that are paid by the medicine industry?
Do you trust the head of a philosophy school when he postulate that philosophy will enhance your education above all other competing universities?

No god no. That's why a second opinion medically, is a legal right in my country. Although they are actually paid in my country at least by the government, not Big pharma, but the point remains cogent.
Likewise you can't trust anyone's opinion on its own and fortunately most reasoned people do not.

Where I live, my medical professionals were paid by me up until a few years ago and I haven't changed since the government took over payment. The idea that a doctor is paid by the medical industry, is an idea that only an idiot would come up with.

I don't get it Hex, that was neither an argument nor did it make any logical sense.
Do try harder in future.
He said the idea that a Dr is paid by the medicine industry, was x, which is true they are not, even in America, and you said you are "a hapless retard". I am not sure I think that makes any sort of contingent argument a propos, the facts you stated in the OP. In fact vis a vis the actual argument and pari passu, you sound like someone who just didn't bother with argument and just proceded to I am right an you are wrong, with no intermediate steps anyone who understands rational thought or logic or any sort of sense would even remotely understand?
1) Drs are not paid by a "medicine industry" whatever the hell that even means, in any country and never have been.
2) do you trust them to be impartial based on a non sequitur hence about them being so, makes abso-fucking-lutely no sense at all.

the federal government is expected to release details of payments to doctors by every pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturer in the country.

Yeah I read that but what you said is still bs. You are making non sequiturs. You should get to the point, at some point. What is it? Do tell..?
I think it is fair to say Dr's receive payment from the medicine industry which is a no brainer, in America perhaps more than in any other country, but I still don't see what you are trying to say?
Some doctors have relationships with many companies.
Those who read the fine-print disclosures accompanying medical journal articles know that doctors often have relationships with several companies that compete in a drug category (such as heart drugs or those for schizophrenia). Our data bear that out.
Some highly sought-after key opinion leaders, as they are known in the industry, work for half a dozen or more companies in a given year.
Dr. Marc Cohen, chief of cardiology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, received more than $270,000 last year for speaking or consulting for six companies listed in Dollars for Docs. He is a prolific researcher and author.
It is not that odd that Dr's are groomed by pharmaceutical companies, in the US particularly, what is odd is your conclusions hence forth that do not follow..?

Hex, it's obvious that you shouldn't trust medical professionals anywhere, so my advice to you is the next time you feel a bit under the weather, travel to one of the Caribbean Islands and find a Witch Dr. to cast a spell over you to make you well again. Don't mind the bone in his nose or the extra toe you grow, it's all part of the ambiance.

One thing that must be kept in mind is that it is in the doctors best interest to keep the patient alive, a dead patient usually doesn't pay for any more treatment or office visits.

Once again a contentless answer having no argument except an ad hominem from a clueless and contentless poster who has about as much chance of making an argument as winning a Nobel prize.
You really do suck Hex, no offense, if I took every post you ever made and boiled it down into something, it still would mean aboslute shit all to no one. Why do you even bother? You clearly are not here to do anything but make mindless facile ad hominems because presumably that is what makes you tick. Make an actual argument that makes actual sense or STFU. No one cares mate though, let me just say that. No one fucking cares any more, if they ever did. You are a wrothless facile loser troll yeah, you suck so bad that if sucking was considered worthy of merit in the troll hall of shame, you would not even be in it.
You are by far and away the worst troll ever. And I have seen some dumb fucks in my time.

Well, I never watched that show, so I didn't know she was on. Even so, if I had known I might have watched those episodes, with the sound turned off.
