Everybody wants to be right.

I've never met anyone who doesn't want to be right.


It could be argued that even many pseudo-philosophers' search for truth is only a bit of a deeper need to be even more true than most. Grounded by a seemingly deeper truth.



Could it then be argued, not by me, that true philosophers will never be well known...because they must ALWAYS be uncertain...Must always realize that ANY of their conclusions, ANY of their words are grounded in a lie.

No I'm pretty certain the universe needs to be destroyed. But I'm open to the remote possibility of humans creating a good form of existence.

Though believing the humans would someday be capable of either is where the uncertainty arises.

Pardon me for saying so but that's fucking stupid. If answers can't be found, asking questions is useless.

The difference is in whether they recognise that being right means knowing Why you're right and that requires a good understanding of epistemology at minimum. There is a ground truth and many philosophers have stumbled upon it independently or otherwise.

That's not how truth works. Most aren't true philosopers. Anyone who doesn't believe it's possible to answer the questions is not any kind of philosoper, a naked skeptic at best.

The majority seen to believe answers aren't possible so their philosophy is a pre-determined self-fulfilled fail.
