What's the difference between I shat something & I wrote something?


Both are excrements of the body.


Both are fertilizer for growth; change; development.


Why would we not look upon these two transformed products of the body philosophically, and appreciate them upon the same level.



Solid food goes into the body.

Impressions are absorbed into our bodies.


Words, thought, movement, shit are all precious transfigurations of being human.



Why on earth would we treat the manipulations of words by a famous philosopher on another scale from the shit I just flushed down my toilet?

I once read a story about a child who liked to draw on the bathroom walls with Poop. One day while sitting on the potty the father came in to check on the child and found the child smeared with poop and poop drawings on the walls, he gave a yell for his wife and ran to the other bathroom to throw up. The wife cleaned up the child and walls while laughing her ass off at this big strong man throwing up over the sight of a little poop.

Perhaps children know more about philosophy than most grown ups.

In the past I have had trouble here at The Forum getting something like this title published without having a Mod or Rick delete it.



I am serious.


Words, writings, expressions are nothing but the excrement of the reality we experience.


In the last decade there has been an EXPLOSION of words, writings, expressions basically due to the internet.


Now we are able, for the first time in human history, to see how little words mean.


There are some here at The Philosophy Now Forums that almost deify past philosophers.

Although past philosophers serve a purpose, they pale in comparison to us active members.


...and I have pointed-out why in the past.

Things go into the body, things come out of the body.


Nourishment comes into the body, excrement comes out.


Solid food, water, air, impressions, come into the body, shit, piss, carbon dioxide, thoughts, come out of the body.



In the past we have cherished, looked-to, and structured future hope upon the excrement of thoughts & words.

Now, with the explosion of words through the internet & the digital revolution, we may see thoughts for what they really are;
a by-product of impressions obtained in an experienced reality. A reality that cannot be improved upon.

Philosophers say it is important to be a student. That is, a slave with no rational thought of their own, just parroting everything taught to them. Their minds are perhaps so open that they fall and become a great smooze, soaking up the floor as they say, fearing to teach others anything original, partially because they have nothing original to say, and partially because they believe in being a lowly student for now and forever. Well, someone's gotta be the servant girl in the roleplay, right? Thus, this forum is littered with "shat" in the form of topics, as they say. Some funny ones include members freely admitting to their slave girl student mentality, for extra lulz. Even worse than the topics made of nothing, are the 5 page poorly written ones, or the ones written in an obscure style as a joke, just to drain you of all energy.

Here's a thought about life, death, and suffering. Who'd you rather be stranded on an island with? A dead greek philosopher and some of his writings, or an annoying shithead? I'd take the annoying shithead any day (Except for Greylorn, throw him overboard, I'd even take thedoc over him). But, with the dead guys book in my hands to teach the island a thing or two.

As far as creative energy, it really is pointless shit, really. Sure, your shit might not stink, but maybe people like the smell of poop. I sure love Youtube Poop, that's for damn sure. If you want to spread the truth, spread it, don't be facetious about it and put it in an alien language for noone to understand.

Also the greek philosophy is okay and when you say "live life to the fullest" you sound silly, as in you think life can ever be filled. You also imply that their life is somehow more "real" and less "fictitious". Is it because you are a fan of greek architecture? Or is it because you feel overwhelmed and infatuated with greek ambience? Also you lie when you say you wouldn't want to live on an island with me, and would rather be alone with a dead guy. Sorry my mistake as I think the idea of 'life' a nonsense as there are only living things and in the case in hand I meant that the Greeks in question appear to have had a variety of experience in their life which would make them interesting to meet.

I'm like a reflecting pool. I'm only as rude as what you put into me. On the other hand, I'd say the ape is a fountain of rudeness. I'd say that as far as greeks go, the thought of time-travelling to meet one would offer a mild novelty, nothing more. To be honest, I think you'd be a bit disappointed, though you'd try to stuff your disappointment within.
I'd say 99 percent of what I say is accurate, well-grounded, and reasoned, with little margin for error. Humans tend to reject such things because it does not adhere with their learned dogma. Though, perhaps I was mistaken when I assumed your goal was to offer a personal attack. It's only natural for a soldier to assume hostile intent while in a battlefield.
