Does good overwhelm evil, or does evil overwhelm good, or are good and evil two equal forces in opposite directions?

To answer that let me ask the question this way: which one of the following is better: good, evil or they are equal?! Or which one is GOOD in your opinion, good or evil?! I think everybody admits that good is itself good not evil. At birth, we all want good things for ourselves, not evil things. And if we end up with asking for evil things, it is because now we are feeling good about them. What everybody prefers (is better, is more good) is what her/him wants the most and is good for her/him.

So my conclusion is that good overwhelms evil.

I think there is a internal concept of good and evil. Good and evil are some times called positive and negative mind, which is some thing like positive and negative numbers. Then my argument for good overcomes evil corresponds to numbers. Positive times positive is itself positive but negative times negative is positive. This has roots in the fact that positive numbers are studied before negative numbers which caused multiplication to be closed on positive numbers not negative numbers. If humans started studying negative numbers before positive numbers, positive and good would not overcome negative and evil.

I say it is something like if there is no love, there is no hatred.

Positive and negative mind corresponding to positive and negative numbers would mean good is good but evil is evil. And saying good is good and this is itself good but evil is evil is itself good.
