No, it's a negation of the idea that the world is there as a stage for consciousness. Hubris comes to mind.

Certainly not for thine or mine or other, which are mere individual instances of consciousness. The evidence for a world, both the perceptual / felt and the intellective kind, may be dependent upon particular subjective agents producing such from received or unfolding influences. But the governance of its events transcends personal wishes; its lawfulness is intersubjective (objective). From there one can additionally infer a pre-adducible version (metaphysical existence) for the reality which falls out of the general evidence-fabricating process (consciousness). If deemed necessary for ____ reason(s).

I prefer to define consciousness rather broadly. Only live animals with brains can be conscious. Brainy animals are sometimes awake and other times asleep. Only when they are awake do they possess and exhibit consciousness. Any attempt to divide the term further seems misguided to my eye.
The bigger, more interesting questions involve how a conscious human mind interacts with sensory data, memories and instincts, to make decisions about intentional thoughts and acts. Anyway you cut it IMO, this interplay amounts to free will at work, at lease while we are conscious, i.e., awake. - CW

hi chasw. yeah can understand ur understanding of consciousness you are seeing your self in a modest position regs to the rest of the universe.or you regard that your consciousness has a size relative to the universe.that is not the correct stand point.the universe is in side of ur consciousness.consciousness pre existed the universes existance..
