Lest we forget the wars fought in the name of freedom from tyranny and slavery in the process of lording the ideals of no taxation without representation ironically, as if somehow howling at the president like a baboon on steroids is the highest most noble act when done by a rebel who has forgotten why he even exists and what he owes. It is your God given right to protest, but with freedom of speech comes great responsibility, and rightly as someone else once said most men should dread it.

Try and think rationally about what you want to say and steer clear of trite soundbites like we all gone die under Obama, them Mexicans gone steal all our jobs fuckwittery. Keep it simple, but most importantly keep it non stupid.

The top ten rated countries for both technological advance and wealth and social mobility all have nationalised health care which is provided for by taxes, last time America was measured on a fair scale they came 28th just behind Cuba, it measured such things as bang for buck, how much is spent for the quality level achieved, infant mortality, adult mortality, cancer rates, coverage of the population, access to prompt medical care etc, (obesity and smoking rates were also naturally considered as were rates of heart disease, but they were weighted accordingly). So stop whining and use some common sense. I don't know if social health care works or will work in the US, all I know is that it is the best system that has been tried.

Sweden then ranked no 1 spending on healthcare % of GNP 11.2
America then ranked 28 spending on health care %GNP ~16
and to put that into perspective American military expenditure % GNP 4.6%.
