Too often today, religionists of various persuasions get away with advocating everything from a literal six days of creation to violence against gay women and men.

sounds good. I have this sort of racial masochism where i laugh myself silly over how stuoid humanity is,
creationists are up at top of list of absolute idiots.
followed closely by the corporate elite in their 400 K cars and idea of superiority though monetary worth

If only Dawkins was a physicist maybe then his opinion would be worth considering in relation to God, instead he wallows in his own short-sighted atheist existence as a biologist.

So creationists go happily vomiting all sorts of bullshit about evolution while Dawkins should shut up. Fair world.

Bored on Christmas were you?

An understanding of God's existence does not necessarily make you a creationist.

In 50 years of talking to people i found the 'atheist' to be the IDIOT child.
Most have NO idea what they were talking about.

It is amazing how God and religion get so much unwarranted attention. You mention God and this forum lights up like a Christmas tree for the dumbs reasons.

So often religion is treated as a means to an end, when in fact it is a dead end. (Religion came to be as a means of dealing with death.) Religion is a comfort and helps people get through the day. But in itself it is unsustainable. It does not bring about sustainability. In his book Dawkins makes a point of this, that religion nor God nor prayers put food on the table, houses or puts clothes on one's back.

In the past God and religion were important in that they helped establish Civilization and rules. But that's over and its time to see what religion and God are, just a comfort zone.
