What is hell in the largest grouping on monotheism.?
eternal damnation?
Pain suffering.? no
It is that one IS ETERNAL.
Both in heaven and hell.
To me.. and of course this is just my ideas fears and speculation.
To be unable to die and be nothing. Is the greatest horror i can think of.
Blessed with eternal life?
To me is a curse to bring on red rage of frustration.
I WANT TO BE like i was before i was born. Nothing.
Then again as spheres says i am sick.

One of the best interpretations of heaven and hell I've come across -
"There is no heaven and there is no hell. They are not geographical, they are part of your psychology. They are psychological.
To live a life of truth, love and beauty is to live in heaven. To live a life of hypocrisy, lies and compromises, to live according to others, is to live in hell.
To live in freedom is heaven and to live in bondage is hell." - Osho

Why concern myself with my demise.
Is it not the same as the uncertainty of our lives.
If I were to look back five years ago, I could never have predicted I would be here.
That is about as much certainty that I will ever have and that I am alive.
I don't know how I will die, at what date or time.
All I know with certainty is that I will die and when I do, I will cease to be and know nothing.
That is comforting, is it not?
Beyond that, there is no human being who can add anything else, with undisputed certainty.
For we simply do not know.

What makes you so certain, reasonvemotion? if you are certain with this belief, you must have a reason or logic behind this strong belief..?

Agree
The concern is that billions are preconditioned to believe that they can avoid this. and live forever.
If they know off the book ,mostly if they follow the church.
think.. what does immortality offer..?
no consequence.
If we fight for god. who can be against us. the godless. The sophists. the unbelievers.?
i have issues

No-one has ever come back from the grave to dispute it.

Immortality holds no importance for me.

If you believe in God you will have many many people against you.
i have issues
It is important to trust and believe in who you are and what you know.

Back asswards
7.2 billions as of this morning are from 'the pre-grave' They did not exist. now they do.
For a brief instant in clockwork of newton.
we appear.
and then seem to cease.
Or is it. A thing done cannot be undone in fullest nature applied to conscious life. A 'soul' set in motion cannot be undone.
I ask from curiosity. I HAVE NO ANSWERS JUST QUESTIONS.
What i believe is that where matter can collapse to a singularity and dropout of this universe, where time is variable on delta V
anything is possible.
Where the impossible has been defined.. the possible no matter how unlikely must be true.

The living know that they will die, so the advice is, whatever you wish to do, do it with conviction for there is no wisdom in the grave.

'All to true'
on partnership/love i was advised.
"The grave is a fine and quiet place. Yet none i fear do there embrace."
A point. fallacy "The living know that they will die"
few i have met accept this logically.
That is why religion is. so death is not.
Any silly story you can think of the ego grabs to deny the impending nonexistence.
Life it seems WILL find a way.
And through technology it will.
religion talks the talk. Human invention walks the walk.
In age of Achilles. If you promised Agamemnon an end to troy .With one ship.
Send an envoy. i will send back a 2 megaton fusion warhead [plenty in stock]
the fist of gods.
jawbone of an ass indeed.

The grave is no place to seek answers to life. Living life fully is to grasp it's meaning more fully than that of the dead.
Life is filled with near-death experiences to verify the continuation of life after the body no longer is able to support it.

LOL. Your ego betrays you. Scientific evidence suggests that all features of the near-death experience have some basis in normal brain function gone awry.
Acceptance of this fact of life, can help us come to terms with this inevitable part of life. Inevitable. When we die we cease to exist.
Can you verify otherwise?

Our lives may find an analogy in the common light bulb: different wattage for different purposes, different sizes and shapes but each one providing what they are intended for - to cast a light within the darkness. When a bulb burns out or is no longer operable for one reason or another, the electricity that brought the bulb into usefulness does not die but rather returns to it's source. So does the internal light within us, a light that brought us life as it does each and every lifeform. Our everyday lives, the ones that you and I and all others live with is our ego life, the mask that makes us individuals of some degree or another. But our 'true life' is far more deeper than that of this ego life, our mundane existence... it is that life which invariably will die and reconstitute in other lives incrementally with the "ego matter", i.e. our hands, our heart, our physical body, etc., is what dies... not the life force that brought our bodies into existence... the light within. That it eternal and without ego.
