Happy Easter everyone, On Monday the congregation got the Occupancy Permit for the new building just in time for Easter, and I decided to take a break from church. I just got tired of everyone saying the church is the people and not the building and then getting so up-tight over the new building that they forget how to be Christian, I guess I wonder if they ever knew. So I'm sitting here at the computer instead of sitting in the new building being angry. My real question is what do I say to the grandchildren when I see them, their mother is taking them today, the first time she has been in church since Christmas. My real problem is that I should not be so involved with the congregation but my wife is very involved and I get sucked into it.

I know how you feel....I am not a church goer but my whole family is ...I was raised in that atmosphere and it was enough to put me off church for a lifetime. I wonder why many Christians say they have faith in God, but then don't trust him.
