I don't know what America really is but if you are an American and this version of My Country Tis of Thee by Kelly Clarkson doesn't stir in you everything that is hope - everything that America stands for I don't know how to react to you.

My thesis for this thread: America is still humanities best hope. Pure philosophical hope for each of us. The best in each of us.As much as we enjoy intellectual approach to philosophical concepts, music and song has the capability to stir us; our essence.
