Correct me if I'm wrong, but the concept seems to be that workers are just marionettes on the strings of rich capitalists, who don't do any work at all.JasonPalmer wrote:interesting concept

Professor Wolff's panacea for the problems of capitalism is the worker-owned and operated cooperative. I have wondered why the work forces of all those plants that closed to go to China didn't organize and open their own manufacturing plants. I wonder what Wolff would answer.
What is Wolff saying, that anybody can run a business successfully? What are these workers going to do, take a pay cut to compete with other companies outsourcing to China? Where are they going to get the money to finance their ownership? Wolff is just another socialist with a bunch of harebrained ideas.tbieter wrote:Professor Wolff's panacea for the problems of capitalism is the worker-owned and operated cooperative.
