Luck isn’t going to guarantee their safety . But you have no problem trusting to luck that is of no guarantee of protecting your own offspring? Already knowing they could potentially die. So by having children you are potentially putting them in the potential to be in harms way right?

No, this mutually exlclusive thinking and trying to perfectly define your words doesn't work in practice.

Whether I know that something is true; or know that something is false I need a good reason to be moved off the "I don't know" spot.
