Jacobi is the same as Can. In this thread he might whine that Can demands impossible and unnecessary definition of the term "Christian" as if it is some term of art that only highly specialised professionals can successfully deploy. But when asked which specific aspects of the holocaust he denies in another thread, he pulled the same manoeuvre for the transparently same reason.
You really are looking to establish a conflict!
In that other thread I said I accept the account of the Shoah (I regard the term Holocaust as perverse because it refers to a burnt offering offered to god) with some differences over details. It is extremely cynical to characterize that as Holocaust denial.
You evaded multiple questions using IC patented tactics about the various antisemitc positions that you hold and will not discuss.
This isn't relitigation I'm just pointing that out.

As one raised in a Jewish context I have views and ideas that run against the common grain, that is true. But I could name a dozen Jewish intellectuals who are often described as antisemitic.
I avoided
you because you are trolling and looking for some kind of fight. But you have no interesting topic. You mistake that for ‘evasion’.
And I do so again now. I won’t respond to you again. It is a waste of time.

Has anyone really pondered the essence of Christianity...?
Earlier you posted the following:
The essence and value of Christianity lies in the Cross. But as we have seen, it isn't wanted by the world.
Can you elaborate on this?

There is no such thing as magic.
Y do you think "miracles" are irrelevant to the Christian story?
I place miracles and magical acts in a similar category. But I don’t think I’ll quibble over semantics.
The virgin birth cannot precisely be called
magic yet it is really sort of god’s magic, no?
No, it's just what God is capable of. It's barely no more a miracle or magic than your soul being implanted into your mother's womb.
Alexis Jacobi wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 1:51 am
Miracles are the core of the Advent and miraculousness infuses the Gospels from one end to the other.
Sure, but you still haven't answered Y you consider these "miracles" throughout the Christian Gospels as unnecessary and irrelevant.

They are rhetorical questions, obviously. You pretend to ask a question but make a statement.
You don’t need me . . . I prefer not to interfere.
Krishna lifted Govardhan hill. Is that event relevant or non-relevant to the general story of Krishna?

This conversation you're describing never took place.
I've never "denied" any part of the Holocaust. I know very well it happened, and I know it from impartial evidence. So there's no reason I would.

I thought I should explain the GREAT IRONY of this entire thread and the level of comprehension about the subject at hand of members of this forum.
IF Christ was to join this forum, and start posting here within this thread NONE of you would barely believe a word he had to say, and would argue with the man until your teeth fall out, prior to dropping dead.
The theists that are posting tend to be looking at the bible FAR too deeply, as if Christ is not a man that could possibly exist still somewhere upon this very planet - (i've been told he sometimes pots the white ball while playing pool - lol, looking forward to a game with him and the sages)
And, all this talk about Satan bla bla bla - and "John said this...bla bla ..and in the book of Brian he said this..bla bla bla" - you truly are bloody short-sighted morons.
I've been in HELL many times - and yeah it's fucking horrible GOD CAN BE A **** - "HE" doesnt need some fella called Satan to do stuff!! While there I'd call out Oh Satan where art thou!!! - Do you think that twat turned up!! lmao.
Everything you look at from you POV of "reality" - all the suffering in distant places brought to you via TV etc.. a projection of God's bullshit. The good thing about God is - that there are BOUNDARIES to peoples ACTUAL suffering - and the soul gets taken prior to GREAT suffering.
Consider that indeed you are in something akin to a computer game - that your brain indeed is interfaced to the "matrix" - then you can wise up, and real eyes that NOT everything you are witnessing of others suffering is necessarily true..
capeesh?
HEAVEN is fantastic though, shame none of you made the grade. Right now I look about 28! God's heavenly sexual exstasy is blooooody awesome...U dumb prude twats.
NEVERMIND

Go in peace my son. He was referring to me. Yet he made a false accusation (looking for a fight or a conflict).

You really should learn to read a context instead of picking one sentence and misrepesenting it.

I wonder if all these guys were using the same synth and that was just one of the available presets or something.

Fair enough. My mistake.
