Bullshit in the Koran.

36:40 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit.

21:33 And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit.

Oh dear and I thought it was the earth that orbited the sun!!

27:61 Is not He (best) Who made the earth a fixed abode, and placed rivers in the folds thereof, and placed firm hills therein, and hath set a barrier between the two seas ?

Ahhh - that explains it - the earth is fixed in the centre of the universe.
You do agree that the sun revolves around the centre of the galaxy?

The Earth beneath our feet is fixed...somewhere we can build our abode?

Far be it from me to support the inner crap of the buy bull or the koran for that matter. (matter)
When the Koran was written it was believed that the earth was fixed in the heavens and that the sun, moon and planets revolved around the sun. That is what the Koran says and that was when they meant by saying it.
Had they meant something else at the time then Mohammed would have been thought a heretic.

Get over yourself!

Get over myself...pansy? So you agree that in the current context the Koran is correct?

Obviously not. Never was, never will be. Can't you fucking read?

strictly speaking it is easier for us to do some mathematical calculations if we assume the earth orbits the sun and not vice versa

we could treat the earth as immobile and it would make the math more difficult but not impossible

so the whole debate about which one is at the center indicates misunderstanding of science

You are right...without the maths of course...because once the maths kicks in...Earth would be flung to where it exists....revolving around a greater body.

Why dont you give Chaz the chance to explain how the points made by Khalid from the Koran are inaccurate?

Chaz bamboozles the reader with nasty jibe...

Sorry it would make everything impossible because all those stars that go round every 24 hours would have to exceed the speed of light by many thousands of times, which is impossible.

Your comment exemplifies a complete misunderstanding of science.

Maybe your science teacher need to take his head out of his arse?

I don't understand what you mean .
The 'God' you worship was made-up by the Jews. Then a Jew was proclaimed Messiah. Then an Arab denied this and made him a 'prophet' and then made himself the 'last' 'prophet'. Your book is a bastardized version of the Christian book which is a bastardization of the Jewish books.

There was no bastardization...Judaism created the initial understanding of '"""GOD"""" and proclaimed that a messiah would come of """"GOD""""
Christ came along as a peasant and spoke the truth of love and peace and forgiveness.
The ruling Jewish priests didnt believe in he was the messiah so they plotted to say 'good bye' please Romans crucify this imposter...
Many years later (about 600) a war lord by the name of Mohamad came along and told everyone he was to now profit (woops prophet) from the beacon of truth. Yes bow down to my birthplace because im not vain. Force your women to be subservient to man.

Let me see...should i believe in Jesus as the Christ someone who spoke of peace and trust...or a warlord?

Or a jew that is still wishing for the messiah?

Je wish = (i wish) the messiah to come.....blow it out your ass... He already did! And suffer he did!

No...i found that """GOD""" existed in 1997 - eight years prior to the nasty incident that hospitalised me.
The incident you speak of is when i was introduced to my sage. And ...i never ever had my brains beaten in. I had a broken arm and a broken nose.

And your silly book is cobbled together by semi-literate ignoramuses, in a series of dialects now forgotten and this is why your views are so confused.
