I can't answer that as a teacher, but in the States, the actual education you receive seems to take second place as to where you received it. I used the GI Bill, so I never got the financial ass kicking others did. The problem I see (in certain aspects) is someone with a degree will 'get the job' over someone who has a better working knowledge, but no degree.
