No. I no longer do any mental health-related work. It's become clear to me that I am no longer qualified to help the mentally ill with anything. I won't be returning to it. Even when I was more functional I was only barely above incompetence at best. That's the way I have always been. I once destroyed what was possibly a year of work for a lady I was temping for in an afternoon when I became utterly confused and disoriented with the procedure of operating the copier. I could not keep my thoughts in order. I left the position in utter shame immediately lest I do any more damage to the poor woman, who I otherwise liked. For the past few days, my mind has been filled with the most horrible traumatizing visions, mostly derived from TV, movies, philosophies, religions, and other things I've witnessed around me. There is no escape for me other than to pound my brain with chemicals that prevent coherent thinking for the most part. I was first diagnosed with Schizophrenia.
