Yes, but I don’t think HQ considers COVID to be a gift from God. After all, it turns us into sheep, just as you imply here. His greatest concern is that government must not tread on anyone, but mainly not on him.

double counts, deaths
with beer virus bein' counted as deaths
from beer virus, deaths listed as from beer virus where there's no confirmation of beer virus infection, the likelihood beer virus is far more asymptomatic and widespread than reported, and on and on, all contribute to the notion of
Coronapocalype when, really, it's just a nasty

So how's the seasonal flu analogy going HQ? 140,000 deaths and rising and if the US follows us, which seems likely, you'll be looking at anything from 220/300,000 by the time it starts to fall, although sadly, come winter, you may even catch a possible second wave before that.

bottomline: if we had an accurate count, we' be lookin' at mebbe 50 or 60 thousand folks actually dead from beer virus
and most of those deaths would still be comin' out of NY (city & state) & Connecticut
beer virus doesn't even rate with the flu: it's just a nasty cold that's been over-estimated and over-reacted to

Nah! Given you've responded pretty much as we have you're looking at around 200,000 by November by the time it works its way through. Could be less though given your population distribution and density.
