Au contraire. You might quite rightly point out that my opinion will not make the Bible true. Agreed. But his disbelief will not make it false. Either way, it is what it is. That's called reality.
But he is owed the right to hear what it says. "He who has ears to hear, let him hear," said Jesus Christ. So my job is done. Whether or not he uses his ears to hear is strictly between him and God. I have no say in that matter.
To your satisfaction, no doubt, I'm out of that equation and out of the conversation.
It is not my disbelief you should worry about. You should worry if your God is the true one. Because I can guarantee you that you have definitely committed some sin and you have definitely goaded me to keep coming back and pointing out that your God is one scary, angry God who is itching to punish people and that will surely make him very, very angry at you for not shutting up.
And I am pretty sure that just to make a point he is going to place us both side by side. So you can rest assured that if your God is the true God, the two of us are going to be side by side screaming like banshees. I believe he would appreciate the humor in that.
