OK, then how do you explain why the spokesman for the Biblically ultra-conservative Spiritual Counterfeits Project was totally blown away by the paper (http://church-of-ouzo.com/pdf/spiritual ... rfeits.pdf)?
This letter expresses more doubts than support, in fact it questions the truth of your claims.
The spokesman for the SCP was so blown away by "The Ouzo Prophecy" that he had to in fact wonder if it were true, even though it contradicted everything his organization stood for, and he himself strongly believed In. What do you want me to do, walk on water???

He had to wonder if it was true bobby. If he thought it true he'd not wonder. Your selective reading ability is on par with none upon the internut.

Bob, I see how you are interpreting his statement: "But I have to wonder, is it true?" Surely you know that statements can be interpreted multiple ways (especially in writing), and it's hard to tell sometimes without hearing the inflection in a person's voice. You seem to deny that this is even possible in this case... which clearly shows your bias. As has been pointed out to you before, the fact that he started the statement with the word "But"... after he gave you credit for your fascinating argument... seems to indicate that he is shifting gears. He DIDN'T SAY: "SO, I must wonder..." or "therefore, I must wonder".

You are conforming things to support your views. Then you take it further by embellishing and saying: He was "blown away". This is dishonest and ridiculous... and you really ought to have more integrity... but you don't, and that's why (among other things) nobody believes you are a prophet.

Sorry, that statement is too stupid to respond to.

"I have to wonder, is it true. And if it is, so what?"

And these are the (ahem!!) "authority" who Bob thinks so much of...

It's so tragic.

And not one mention of Ouzo on the web page, if they were so "blown away" surely it would at least get a mention on the page.

Probably it was Bob who was "blown away" that he had a thought that wasn't put there by someone else.

Well, one thing is crystal clear, none of you idiots have the slightest ability to analyze an argument and formulate an intelligent response.

Look, you don't have to be Albert Einstein to understand that what he is saying is that after reading the paper, which he says is not only fascinating, but tightly reasoned, for sure, he has to wonder if it's actually true since it contradicts every religious belief he and his organization have ever had. If you can't understand that, your mind is totally closed and nothing will ever open it up.

True, but don't put a gun to your head, it's not the end of the world.

The key words, of course, are, "And if it is..." In other words, he is flat out admitting that "The Ouzo Prophecy" could very well be true!

And I could have Invisible Pink Unicorns running around my house, which puts them in the same category as the possibility of the Ouzo Prophecy being true.

Nothing new there then as you never answer questions that threaten your fragile self-esteem.
