Insidious Albion indeed GREAT Britain - it's right there in the name for you just in case you weren't certain of an actual great nation.

Look at the state of affairs currently upon the planet. ALL the nations brought into the current point of time because of British colonialism are very good countries to live - economically doing well, and democratic.

Thus at this point in time, Great Britain is the ONLY nation where GREAT can and should be applied.

USA (yes Britain got u guys going)
Canada
New Zealand
Australia
+ other Commonwealth countries.

All in a great place for people to live and raise families.

I’ve found that folks who haven’t yet advanced to the Any Idea stage of understanding are first better off doing some personal remedial work.

I’d suggest an analysis of why US citizenship is such a prized plum for folks who don’t have it and want it, but I’m not going to spoon feed you like a baby.

If you think because people are trying to escape the shithole state that their own country is in to get to yours must mean your nation has some 'greatness', you really are one of the dimmer of the dimwit Americans.

Do you ever watch the news pertaining to the rest of the world? People are drowning from crossing the Mediterranean in little rubber dinghys to get to Europe and then after crossing Europe they are repeating the process to get to the UK.

The same was happening with people trying to get in to Australia, but the government made a wise decision to stem the flow.

So, yeah by your measure of what determines 'greatness', the USA is not worth risking death to get in to unlike the case for the UK and Oz.

There's plenty of facts alright but for theists and cultists only those they choose to believe in; everything which doesn't subscribe is written off. Nothing new here. That kind of subterfuge has been going on for centurys. Cults and religions depend on it.
