I still love the original Wizard of Oz - in the 80s in UK it was aired around Christmas morning maybe midday..BBC likely (*B4 BBC betrayed unbiased reporting)

One year our main TV -the ol' cathode ray tube got screwed up - and all was displayed was a little white dot in the middle. We had a very small TV in the back room so we watched it there.
