The true issue is that wherever there is localised poverty, high truancy rates in schools, and underfunded child social services, there are at risk children in streets all day long where they can be found by dirty old men who ply them with alcohol or weed, invite them to "party", and then take sexual advantage of them. By long standing tradition everywhere, the children are usually blamed for being promiscuous and the dirty old men get away with it more often than not so long as they are careful who they prey upon.

What I have just described is how pimps lure young women into prostitution and has been the case for centuries. It isn't racial and there is no particular religion that does more of it than ophers. But the far right is currently weaponising this effect against muslims as if christians don't do the same shit, which is absurd, becuase this was going on in mostly the same places long before mass migration was a thing.


Meanwhile, the arms war between Trump and Musk continues. On Jan 20th Trump has a countdown to get rid of Musk before Musk replaces Trump. Trump threw his own weight around by annoying leaders of Canada and Denmark, so Musk responds by trying to cause a political crisis in a NATO ally. Each is demonstrating his news making power, Trump is losing.
