Lots of damaging garbage is spread in the name of religion.
For example, God does not exist, and God does exist, is spread in the name of religion, and can be very damaging. As can be clearly seen and proved True over the last couple of millenia up to when this is being written.

Sure but abortion and homosexuality is also despised by many non-believers.
Arguments based on differences of opinion are one thing, but arguments with threats of eternal damnation are quite another.
As can be clearly seen here, once more, these posters, back then, were, literally, so blindingly selfish and greedy that they actually believed words like 'eternal damnation' were about them, personally.
And, the funniest part of all of this is that they were never even questioning their own beliefs and presumptions here. For if they did, then they would not have been so utterly lost, and confused, as they are showing they were.Again, back then, when this was being written.

It is amazing how often I've seen hundreds of pages of arguments, often between theists and atheists, but also between atheists and agnostics and or other atheists over the definition. Generally it means a. : a lack of belief or a strong disbelief in the existence of a god or any gods. And there's a clear difference between those two. Those long threads often battle over one being correct and the other being false, with some people saying that you can't merely lack a belief in God. You either, supposedly, believe there is no God or you believe in God - which is where the agnostics rush in where Angels fear to tread. And of course some them consider themselves agnostic atheists, which then always makes someone gnash their teeth. Probably better to find out if they agree that if they see a baby crying, alone on the ground in a park, they would try to make things better for that baby.
How about we all choose our words wisely. Let’s all agree with the wise, and all be wrong.

Agreed. If I want a treat, it's not the words

Hm, not my experience. I've found Harbal to often be generous and not selfish.

I have seen him defend someone from being attacked by another poster. I seeing him sharing his humor. I see him responding to people kindly and patiently, even when they are not being like that with him. It seems some didn't even notice.

Well, the funny thing is eternal dalmatian is a bit of a joke phrase and I would assume an evasion of using 'damnation' or playing with avoiding it's use.
