K: hang on there cowboy,... you are projecting in a major way.....
now I can't speak for Gary, but I can speak for Atheists,
now whither or not Gary, ''hates god'' is irrelevant, but one can
be an atheist without blaming god for ''every perceived wrong''
and do Atheists reject the premise of god... sure, why not...
there is no need for god or some theological proposition in our lives...
one can happily go from birth to death and never give god a moment's
thought... and in many ways, life is vastly easier without a god, then
with a god...
In fact, I would make the argument that god is not only unnecessary,
but is harmful to human existence.... god and believe in god, weighs
us down in ways that damages us..... belief in god create harm by
engaging us into guilt, sin, heaven and hell, worry, doubt, uncertainty,
and outright fear of god.... these damage and harm us, socially
and psychologically, I am separated from living with my doubt
and fears about going to hell..... I can't live my best life if I am
scared or terrified of going to hell....fear drives us to doing things
that we normally wouldn't do..... such as when we attack others on
theological grounds... it is our own fear that drives us to this, not
in favor of heaven or hell, but because of our fear, a negative, not
a positive, for something......
I spent 40 years searching for god... and I found peace and quiet, once
I stopped... very little bothers me these days, especially not any concern
that I might go to hell....there is no hell..... why should I worry about
something that doesn't exists..... and that is what Gary is talking about.....
god is a thesis that we have no need of..... and thus we reject god,
and all the other crap that comes with a belief in god....

However as I said, one cannot be an atheist and blame God. Gary does blame God, and adds the qualifier (fudge factor) ... IF.Peter Kropotkin wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 9:22 pm... but one can be an atheist without blaming god for ''every perceived wrong''

Wow, Kropo, for someone that wants to be recongnised as some genius of philosophy you can't even comprehend that Walker IS NOT saying atheists blame God for everything. That would be ridiculours anyway since they have no comprehension on the FACT that God exists.Peter Kropotkin wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 9:22 pm

There is evidence, it's presented clearly here:- "The Divine Etymology Argument" by Andrew Seas. Have a look, maybe start a thread to discount what is being presented as EVIDENCE.Peter Kropotkin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 12:49 amK: two things, A, the complaint that Atheists blame god for everything is aattofishpi wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 12:12 amWow, Kropo, for someone that wants to be recongnised as some genius of philosophy you can't even comprehend that Walker IS NOT saying atheists blame God for everything. complaint that has been around for a long, long time... I have seen it before,
and B. that are no facts that god actually exists... there is no evidence,
no facts, nothing to support the idea that god does exist...

English? I would have far more impressed if the author had used Hebrew or
even Greek... Modern English is fairly new, try reading Shakespeare to get some
sense of how much English has changed in only 400 years...
YES idiot. What part of that are you not grasping, that God operating throughout ALL matter has brought this language (around KEY words) into their present form.Peter Kropotkin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 5:06 amso, what looks
like it makes perfect sense in modern English, it wouldn't have made sense just
a couple of hundred years ago.....
Either you skimmed it at best, or you really are intellectually inept. Your responses here are way off the mark as to what is being said within the argument and low level ad-hominem attacks prove you are an imbecile of "philosophy".Peter Kropotkin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 5:06 amand in reading it carefully, the basic premise is that god exists and here
is why... there is no doubt of any kind in this work of fiction....
this piece just plays word games and tries to sound important when it
is really offering us a shit sandwich...it is just assumptions and bad word
games that's in this pile of doggy crap....
I can't impress upon you how devoid of evidence or facts is in this paper....
there is nothing even pretending to be a fact or evidence proving
that god exist.... and if you take this seriously, I have to begin really doubting
your ability to think intelligently.....what a waste of 15 minutes of my life...
I've not seen that one before. God haters believe in God. Atheists don't hate God, and no one's complaining about that. Just the God haters are complaining.Peter Kropotkin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 12:49 am K: two things, A, the complaint that Atheists blame god for everything is a

Why's that? just because it's not someone else's cup of tea, is your frustration triggered because you think you are the only expert of 'philosophy' and far more qualified to discount others as unworthy of intelligent philosophy. Are you the chief authoritarian on these matters now? just because you say so. Well I don't know, your shit must be so overpowering, that it seems to have reduced you to the unconsciousness of other great minds, just like yourself.attofishpi wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 5:26 amEither you skimmed it at best, or you really are intellectually inept. Stop telling people what they should and ought to do with their lives. It just makes you look like a twat.attofishpi wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 9:16 am Here, since you are no good at philosophy (it requires a rational mind) find a hobby more suited to your intellectual incompetence:
