My God man you are good at kissing arse! I shall now proceed to answer what you insist was requiring a simple YES or NO..

Since I'm not an ass kisser, refuting your statement that misinterpreted reality, that is, correcting it with the truth so that you too get to see the truth and perhaps experience the subltle bliss, does make me happy, even if you don't admit to seeing the truth to all but your silent advisor.attofishpi wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 7:46 amWoteva makes you happy Walker.Walker wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 7:43 amSurely you're intelligent enough, with enough worldly experience, to recognize that was simply a gentle ass kicking, and not what you said.attofishpi wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 11:47 pm

It's why I write here. It's my practice afforded by the conditions that define this existence here, to say just the way things are, albeit under sometimes challenging circumstances, this not being one of those.

I trust you have the capacity to "grok" the positive relevance of this link to our discussion.
Runaway train MANNY'S SPEECH (HD)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUyoC_MRaAQ
Question: Manny says he wishes he could. Why can’t he?
Answer: His attachment to his self-concept doesn’t allow it, and everything he does is to maintain his self-concept. Self-concept is the motive force for everyone's actions, from the most insignificant to the most significant. Self-concept is the silent advisor.
*
What I see in the link is:
If Manny’s silent advisor rather than some external boss had told him to get it shiny clean he might have had a chance in society rather than being caged off like an animal for refusing to compromise, but to shiny clean his life he would have had to own the shiny clean for himself, and not just because it was expected by someone else ... which is in part what explains the driving force that set the standard for Apple Products, manifested as Steve Jobs.
What do you see? Anything worth writing about?
Re: Lost in the flood of beliefs
Okay. I did as you suggested. I wrote my own dumbass essays, adapted to dialogue. I did so with a happy spirit, as you also suggested with your emoji.
So now, take some responsibility for the consequences of your demands, and pay back. Praytell, what do you see in the above link ... and in this case neither of us is following your lead with a prejudgment of whatever you might write, or not.
Hmmm?
Re: Lost in the flood of beliefs
So let's review the situation.
You have called me an asshole numerous times, yet I have not called you that once?
And you accuse ME of being the belligent one?
Got it!

Re: Lost in the flood of beliefs
I'm not interested in viewing any links you post... as I've told you before. I consider you to be rather demented, and your sources severely skewed, so it makes no sense for me to invest energy in viewing things that you think are compelling or of interest. It's enough that I interact with your own words here from time to time.Walker wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 9:00 amOkay. I did as you suggested. I wrote my own dumbass essays, adapted to dialogue. "Here," references PNF.
Re: Lost in the flood of beliefs
Okay, if you want to.
That's probably correct. You called me a twat (and possibly other things in the past which I don't care to go revisit)... but most noticeably you tend to 'show up' just to interject rude and belittling comments in response to the things I say, without offering any more contribution to the discussion. It seems that you just blow the comments out of your...
So what's in question here?
I'm sure there's much more to you... so why don't you share that? It could be very interesting! Are you socially challenged?
Re: Lost in the flood of beliefs
I understand. You want to preserve your fantasies and beliefs that buttress your self-concept. To continue that preservation, here's a link concerning your so-called reliable source that you definitely want to ignore. However, anyone with a nose for truth will be interested.

(How is she going to shuck and jive her way around this revelation of her information source corruption? With an accusation and insult, of course.)
Re: Lost in the flood of beliefs
What a stupid conclusion. But that's typical for you, right?
I gave you a good reason why I don't value your sources. So why would I be inclined to waste time on them? Can't you accept that? Your thing is not my thing. I like to see what we can agree on using our own words... it gives me hope that all is not lost with extremists such as yourself. I like to see your brighter nature shine through... rather than the sludge that Trump has stirred up.
I don't even know what that is supposed to mean. I use this forum to have fun and explore ideas. I do have many other people and interests in my life. Yesterday I had a little party at my house with people who like to have thoughtful conversations. Ya know... IN PERSON!! Five of us this time. Great fun! That has always been one of my favorite things to do.
