Why now, why this pandemic now?

Too many coincidences?

Virus emerges at the start of a chinese new year when many chinese people are spread over many countries.
The year Japan hosts the Olympics.
A time when the worlds economy is slowing down due to increasing US-China trade tensions and could be at a tipping point.
Over population problems.
Climate change fears, be they false or real.

Also there are rumours of evidence to suggest this virus has been circulating for months before any news of it hit the people.

The problem with ''knowledge'' is that it can only inform the illusory nature of reality, of which is unaware it is alive or dead. So in reality there is no such thing as a victim or a perpretator. There is no one to blame or is responsible for what happens...EXCEPT in the story aka the knowledge I believe I have... I loved one of the comments made on this video that said ''The leading cause of death is birth.''

The problem with the scientist of scientific research is in the word Re... where there is a believed knowledge of I know how things work, and so where there is this believed knowledge, then there is the capacity to Re- create the scenario of how things work in a biological sense.. This is the problem because to REcreate what has in reality never been created, is the trick the mind plays on it's believing host.

And that's what knowledge does, it spreads fear and loathing like a nasty virus in the mind that is willing to believe that such knowledge exists for real. And the mind knows this.

Depends on whether there is a desire to read fictional stories or not. And whether these fictions are useful or not ...would be a personal matter, if useful, then that too would be a personal preference which is just another fictional story within a story.

On track then as that's just over 2%. Now we just have to wait and see how infectious it is compared to flu but I can see why you may be more concerned about getting the flu over there.
