Infinite, no. For all I can know there may be an end to all studies.

I am hard pressed to think of any science that is not ongoing though.

The models we have encountered in every discipline or study seems to be ongoing.

I agree that the things become boring in intellectual respect if you know everything. But that doesn't mean that they don't know everything.

No. They can still entertain themselves, by fooling us for example, with the knowledge they have.
