One of the advantages of the electric car is that it is so quiet, now the government is taking that away, it's like they are trying to destroy any advantage and make the electric car just as bad as the gas powered car. I have already raised questions about the source of the electricity used to recharge the electric cars, no-one seems to be able to answer that question.

Yes, I'm referring to the ultimate source, which could be a coal burning plant, and that would change the complexion of the electric car, as a clean source of transportation.

Off the top of my head, I know some countries are committed to a definite date to eliminate coal burning (which for other members doesn't mean that the usage of coal will be eliminated). This will require further research.
