Americans do, and that's what separates us from idiots like you.

Don't know about where you live bob but over here we just vote them out.

You need to move somewhere else, then the paranoid delusions will disappear like magic.

Of course, I was just making a point because here in the USA, you can own a large .45 automatic, which will either go through body armour or blow somebody's head off, while you jerkoffs will be reduced to giving your government masters the middle finger at best.

None of which has any point at all with with respect to why silencers are against the law, as the answer is in many places in America they aren't nor has it anything to do with whether firearms are legal in the UK, they are with conditions. As with suppressors. End of your point.

Please, don't argue with Bob the Baptist, divinely inspired prophet of all things spiritual, political and economic:
"In most countries, suppressors are regulated by firearm legislation to varying degrees. While some have allowed for sporting use of suppressors (especially to mitigate the costs of hearing loss and noise pollution), other governments have opted to ban them from civilian use." -Wikipedia

So sportsmen and women aren't citizens then?
What on earth was the point of that quote bob? As all it says is that in most countries suppressors aren't banned and in some they are, so the answer to your statement, 'Why are firearm silencers against the law?', is they aren't, they are regulated to varying degrees.

I'll try to simplify this to 1+1=2 for your limited understanding of the subject. If firearm noise suppression is regulated at all by the government, it is ipso facto tyranny, which, of course, is difficult for oppressed non-Americans from birth to even slightly comprehend.

I'm sorry, but I can't simplify it any further for somebody so thoroughly brainwashed by the government.

Do you vote bob? I doubt it and as such I think you have nothing to say about our democratically elected representatives nor the government. Now your country may truly suck with its politicians but by-and-large our MP's are fairly honest and very hardworking, even tho' the party system skews things, and as such I think your viewpoint that of the nutter. You don't like the way your demqocracy is running, get out there and start organizing and at the very least vote.
p.s.
With respect to your need for a silenced firearm, move to a state that allows them its a democratic federal republic after all.

The only person I've ever voted for was Champagne Sherry for Homecoming Queen, and then only because I was figuratively dragged across campus by her boyfriend to vote for her. There is probably not a less rational activity on Earth than voting. Since your vote will not change the outcome of an election, it is ludicrous to go to the trouble of casting it. On the other hand, getting people to vote for your candidate is absolutely essential to win an election, and the Champagne Sherry Principle of the AEP is its modus operandi.
