So if it turns out that you're wrong with some of these claims, will it help to cure some of your pessimism? :)

   You Lefties are SO predictable.
This whole thread is about Trump and his crime organisation
Are you so stupid?
"You..." again. And "Trump." Utterly predictable.
DUh.
THe premise is that the republic is over because Trump is indicted.
The premise if false. The indictments are the last chance to save the republic. Because if Trump and his one man crime wave gets in again that wull be the end of the republic.
Now run along and blather on about "objective morality", because you are just making a damn foll of yourself on this thread.

Yes, but even better would be if someone could dissuade me from any claim(s) now. :D

The total aggregate suffering of the American people will be the same no matter who is president becuz it's the system style not the politicians that's the prob.

Not relevant. Trump's not in office. The mess in American politics today is 100% Democrat, 100% Leftist.

Time you looked the right direction.

But you never will. It will just be "You...Trump...you...Trump."

That's what they'd like you to think: that the problem's "systemic." It's not. It's the weasels in power that are doing it all. They just don't want you to hold them accountable for it, and "systemic" stuff can never be found or stopped...that's why they like it so much.

"It's the weasels in power that are doing it all."

Put a hundred weasels in power or none at all and the average workin man 'n woman's life won't change a lick. They're all still in debt (thirty year mortgage payments to buy a single house you've lost your fuckin marbles mate), egregiously overworked, and victimized by a consumer junk culture that's made them want to buy a bunch of crap with credit cards.

It's systemic pal and i don't give a damn if u put Abraham Lincoln back in the white house!

Be careful. What that means is that it's 100% incurable: you can't find it, you can't blame anybody in particular, there's no particular cause, and it will go on forever.

The resentiment, emotion, pathology of the Liberal-Left is palpable in this thread. To them, Trump destroyed the Clinton Dynasty, and roadblocked the Obama Administration's 3rd consecutive term, waylaid until 2020 where they had to cheat to continue it...and look at it, so-called President Biden's term riddled with dementia. Look at their Afghanistan pullout. Look at US inflation. Look at crime in Democrat-run cities! Look at their homeless epidemic. Look at their failing educational policies.

Joseph Biden is their 'hero' now. I think Biden is a perfect representation of what they are, and what they "believe". Easily sold, to Ukraine, to China, to whomever is willing to put a million into Brandon's pocket. For them, they really are lost without their savior, Obama. They have no core, moral values, only corruption and hedonism, further represented in their progeny Hunter Biden. This is their 'future'. And they're okay with that. Instead of fixing their own problem, they need to turn to the object—subject of their obsession.

IC is correct. It's not about Trump. This thread is about the American Republic. These emotionally-driven Leftists, in this thread, cannot think beyond their temporary emotions. They cannot answer the question about 'Democratic' values, about the precedent this sets, and what it means for the immediate future. If elections can be cheated, dictators installed, and political resistance imprisoned, then what happens when the pendulum swings right? They are too enraged to understand this, to look forward into the future. They can only see...right now, today.

Anybody who's ever considered America a beacon of hope, power, freedom, opportunity, the future, should really take stock of global politicking as a result of these (unjust) indictments. They are unprecedented. They are a symptom of what comes next, that the Leftist mentality is unable to step-back and examine reasonably, rationally, logically. Because they are willing to destroy the American Republic...gleefully, to sate their emotional obsessions and psychological obsession—Trump Derangement Syndrome.
