Lets forget about all our man-made weapons for a minute.

I honestly think the problem of the need for self-defense is because sentient life-forms of any nature, including the human animal are unavoidably opportunistic by their very nature, and cannot help but exploit their habitats and their environments, doing exactly what they need to do to assure their survival.

Using 'the shade of a tree' IS 'opportunistic' by 'its very nature' also. Doing so can also be seen as 'exploiting one's habitats', which is just 'the environment' anyway. These 'things' are done, to ASSURE one's survival. BUT, and this a VERY HUGE BUT, a LOT of what 'you', adult human beings, DO, in the days when this is being written, is NOT for 'your' survival AT ALL but is just BECAUSE OF and FOR GREEDY and SELFISH reasons.

As long as people like you who have no problem killing other people even when it makes you feel sick to the stomach, then killing will never stop.

It's no good just getting rid of every last weapon, you have to get rid of the problem of having no problem killing a sentient living organism of any description.

And WHILE in the process of getting RID of 'the problem', which ALL of 'you', adult human beings, HAVE, RIDING 'the world' of ALL human made WEAPONRY would NOT do ANY harm AT ALL.

Although, OBVIOUSLY, RIDDING 'the world' of ALL human created WEAPONRY WILL, and DID, ONLY HAPPEN AFTER 'the ACTUAL problem' WAS FOUND, and RESOLVED, IMAGINING 'a world' of NO WEAPONS and/of NO one WANTING to HARM nor KILL "others" COULD be VERY HELPFUL.

And, 'you' ONLY FIND OUT if 'this' is True or NOT IF, and WHEN, 'you' START IMAGINING 'this'.
