They neglected their duties, which was to rule on behalf of fair, honest, free elections. Now American citizens experience the crisis of a failed democracy, failed justice, and failed society across the board.

Republicans were/are perfectly within their rights to withhold electors in an obviously corrupt, sham "election". They should have used the election results counted at Midnight of that night...not 3 and 4am early morning, where the "water leaks" occurred and other shenanigans/lying occurred.

Trump won as of midnight, November 3rd, 2020, for his second Presidential bid.

By law they were definitely supposed to count all the votes, not to just stop counting while the guy you wanted to win was ahead. Everyone knew before the day that the MAGA crowd would vote in person and the anti Trump voters had mailed in their ballots, and the normal process is to tally same day votes then count mail in votes. It would be an act of election fraud to just not count the mail in votes.

It's not a lie that Democrats had to stop the Election in progress, because they lost by midnight on November 3rd, 2020.

Then they "found" them at 3-4am, in the middle of the night, in some precincts where they expelled Republican watchers and overseers.

No. Trump isn't Hitler, not even figuratively, let alone "literally". He is an opportunitic narcissist with a prescription drug abuse problem I suppose, so that would be a small similarity.

He was legitimately elected for one term in office, albeit by virtue of a weird system that should probably be reformed, nonetheless by the law of the land he was the legit pres for 4 years. Then he legitimately lost his re-election campaign. I obviously wouldn't have voted for him either time were I an American voter, but that's niether here nor there.

The voters who did cast their votes all have a right to equal representation and that right would be removed from them if you decide to not count their votes because its midnight and you want to stop the election at some arbitrary time prior to counting all the votes.
