Why are Americans so coy about the word 'toilet'? What do they call an 'actual' bathroom (i.e. a ROOM with a BATH in it)?

vegetariantaxidermy wrote: Fri Nov 06, 2020 9:12 pm Shame that. Back to a world of beige and new wars for the US to start.
I really hate to see wokies happy about ANYTHING.
oh, they aren't too happy

repubs gained seats in the senate (givin' them a bigger majority than they had), dems lost seats in the house (erodin' their majority there)

on the state level: repubs gained, dems lost, in legislatures, courts, etc.

I would prefer ORANGE MAN remain to wreck shit for another four years, but I can live with gridlock

no, the wokies, the commies, the socialists, none are ecstatic...the new green deal (any version of it) is dead; higher taxes, dead; gun control, dead, etc.

and: whether or not there was or is any real vote fraud goin' on, a whole whack of people believe there was or is...these folks aren't goin anywhere, just like ORANGE MAN ain't goin' anywhere...in two years, expect repubs to pick more seats in the senate and a whole whack of positions on the state level

dems might own the white house for four to eight years, but they've already lost the supreme court, they'll lose congress, they'll lose statehouses & governorships...

no, there's no joy in wokieville right now

So a hollow win and more chaos (but without the entertaining orange man).

coy(koi) about the toilet sounds fishy to me...

an actual bathroom is a full bath as opposed to a half bath... I don't know why, it's a realtor thing...

even when I'm not on a boat, I call it a head

conservation of syllables thing...

Oh please. A toilet is a toilet and a bath is a bath. It's all about a puritanical distate for bodily functions.

Trump shot himself in the foot by telling his supporters not to vote by mail. Then when election day came many were put off by the long queues and coughing voters...
Telling people not to vote, in any kind of way, isn't a wise move when you want to get elected.

But they had to focus on Rump since he’s the greatest threat to America like you wouldn’t believe.
