Human imagination knows no limits but the truth is somewhat more limited in scope, so since most philosophers are just making shit up that would lead to quite a variety of nonsense being published, as opposed to a very small amount of actual knowledge.

then he is no god i would EVER embrace.
I'll tell him that next time he gives me cancer again.

The point is that Spinoza/Einstein's God is not a person.

Then your 'God' is very limited and I do not see God as having limits.

BTW, God does not 'give' you anything that you do not ask for.

No, your god is limited.
That's the whole point. only a limited god would give you what you asked for.
I don't 'have a god', I was talking about Spinoza's and Einstein's concept.

Why is 'a' god required to give anyone anything.
The designer gave us life. In designing a universe where life exists.
And we live . But what upsets, is that we are an effect. In designing this universe. The Designer
forgot the roaches. Thats us.

One view is that God set the universe in motion, from galaxies to microbes and quantum particles. If you step in the way of a falling rock, you are going to get hurt, and did God do it? Yes, but as part of the whole construction of the Universe. Those who look to blame God everytime they stub their toe on a rock are just being very stupid. The rock was there it's up to you to look where you are going. Stop looking at heaven to take care of you, God gave you the brains to take care of yourself.

Stupid? What evidence is there that even your Deist version is any better.
God answers nothing whatever- it only adds more questions.

You asked the dumb question not me!

The designer gave us life. In designing a universe where life exists.

Prove it! What designer?

No, the roaches are the roaches- we are the humans (or I am, don't know about you)

What designer? Step one. what is hydrogen. a proton and an electron.
why do they have opposite charges .. thus being atoms. or 'pairs'
They were the FIRST material thing produced by the bang.
Even at the bang. deuterium. a neutron.. where did neutron come from.?
Why was it required>
Laws.

Like why you quiver when confronted by policemen with guns.

Laws

Slightly bitter with a taste of ignorance. You do know this is supposed to be a philosophy forum?
I spit you out!

A lesson you need to learn - keep your butt out of other conversations.
If you want to converse with me then you need to think of something for yourself, not borrow shit from thedoc.

There is no evidence, religion does not deal in evidence only belief. If you want evidence as proof you are in the wrong place, you need to be in math or science. In religion the question often is the answer.
