By omitting the contemporary scene, which would be the one we daily consume and participate in. The paintings would create a shelter of sorts from this 'outside scene'. Contemporary ideology would be absent. Like when people enter a church and are able to imagine and build on profound ideas of religiousity. Outside materiality fades away. And unlike the 'church space' this would be a space conducive to independent thought. How is this even possible. I don't know, but it's what I'm thinking about when I make the next painting. We fill our homes with objects in order that they may create a certain type of aura. The pictures could be an extension of this idea but more controlled and more universal in their projection.

It is. I don't think I write well. I try but it comes out all wrong. I read a lot but it doesn't show in my writing.

It's just that 'everything' is a pretty big.

No, it's okay, I like criticism. It is healthy.

I am sometimes aware that if I use the 'normal channels' of communication, ways that would be found in journalism perhaps, with its 'balanced' or 'detailed account', I feel a moving away from my original thought, or a watering-down. So, "Everything has become fused with corporate ideology." would be a flag in the ground, a marker of sorts. From there, I can go on, with that in mind, though, as Murdoch would say, not, top of mind.
