Evidence From Scripture. The Bible does not prove God's existence. It assumes it. Its opening text declares, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Gen. 1:1). The Bible describes God as the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all creation. God's revelation through creation is so powerful that there is no excuse for atheism, which arises from a suppression of divine truth or from a mind that refuses to acknowledge the evidence that God exists (Ps. 14:1; Rom. 1:18-22, 28)."

There are enough evidences for God's existence to convince anyone who seriously tries to discover the truth about Him. Yet faith is a prerequisite for "without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Heb. 11:6).

Just what god are we talking about?

In answer to your questions, i dunno.
I've spent most of my interaction with God\'God' wanting it not to communicate with me. I've pushed two major buttons haven eaten from both trees and what it did to me a fortnight after each time i foolishly returned to the tree of knowledge, i wouldn't wish upon anyone-well, most people anyway.
Fact is the sage once advised me i was supposed\destined to know.
I think there are likely hundreds if not thousands or more that do know. I believe the sages that have all, or most of the answers walk amongst us.
Fairly obviously i believe we have all had past lives and the night the sage communicated directly with me he advised that the way we have conducted ourselves in each life determines where we are destined for our next life - ie the next family and all the circumstances that entails be they religious or atheist etc...
For me, my father, a carpenter (lol) was Catholic though not particularly religious had me attend catholic schools - so there is a certain amount of a belief being imparted to me at the outset.
I remember as a child at the age of about six my best friend at the time told me God was a load of bullshit...it hit me quite hard, for one thing i thought we were supposed to believe it so thought he was quite naughty! Anyway, i remember looking across the school field and at the trees in the distance and perhaps having my first epiphany. I realised in my mind that there was a lot more to the nature of everything, i probably didnt have words to describe it at that age but i had an even stronger belief in there being something behind everything. Now when i reflect upon that moment i have the understanding, that the nature of reality is so complex and thus is God.
Why me personally though?
I probably shouldn't post this shit but anyway...i was born in the vagina of England - Southampton (ref my painting Ancasta) between two main rivers, one of which - the river Test i used to swim in.
My true initials are BT:- DO_U_BT? The opposite to faith.
Do i doubt? Not anymore...maybe i was searching hard in my previous life(s)

Why not the likes of you?
1. You probably haven't been such a naughty boy.
2. Were you born into a generally atheist upbringing?

Now I definitely shouldn't post this..to sound a little p.reach.y sorry. As i have been advised many times by sage\God - the Christ bit is true, at least that Jesus was the Christ and he suffered horribly on a crucifix.
If you really want to know you best have a little prayer reserved for that chap, give a small thanks at least at some point in your life.
Most of us whine and bitch about how awful life is with all its suffering, well the Christ suffered like hell just to give us a little hope - hope of an afterlife.
A little hope and a place to mourn when we lose our loved ones.
But you don't have to listen to a word i say. Most people these days believe they're above such nonsense.
..but i assure you if you keep an open mind to this you may benefit in some way, even if its just a little enlightenment.
