Democracy only works when the outcome of a vote is a decent proxy for the outcome of a fight. If they are not in sync, it is simply time to fight.

That is why people who vote but would not fight, are the main destabilizing factor in a democracy. It is obvious that they should not be allowed to vote either. When the civilized alternative no longer works, we simply have to switch back to the very basics of how political power truly works.

Since democracy automatically becomes destabilized, I don't think it is a good system to govern a country.

What we need is a good theocracy that correctly channels God and doesn't get confused by any ambiguities in God's messages, eliminating erroneous interpretations (or maybe eliminating erroneous interpreters is more like it).
