God isn't all that omniscient,
If you say so. But it is YOUR God after all.
Atla wrote: Tue Jun 27, 2023 2:41 pm Average Joe is better than God at telling what is an assumption and what isn't
Okay. And, AGAIN, it is YOUR God.
No it isn't
So, YOUR God is NOT YOUR God. Okay.

I don't even have a God. Maybe a Goddess, but not a God.

So, now, you may have a Goddess.

So could this Goddess, of 'yours', REALLY be REAL to the one here known as "atla"?

If yes, then are 'you', now, BRAVE ENOUGH to EXPLAIN what LED you to come to this CONCLUSION and/or BELIEF of 'yours' here "atla"?

Or are you STILL just to SCARED and AFRAID TO just be OPEN and Honest, and ANSWER?

WHO EVER came up with the idea or belief that the Universe even REQUIRE A God?
There is no doubt that the universe has a beginning. So either there existed something in the beginning or nothing to something is possible or God created everything from nothing.
Age wrote: Mon Jun 26, 2023 1:22 am Also, how do you even define the word 'God'?
The creator of everything from nothing.
You have just expressed a massive contradiction.
1) It is not clear that the universe had a beginning at all.
It is clear!
Sculptor wrote: Tue Jun 27, 2023 11:23 am 2) Let's say it had a beginning. If that is true then you can't have a creator since that
assumes something exists before existence - which is absurd.
I am not saying that something exists before existence. God exists at the beginning of time. That is one solution. Another solution requires a singularity.

Explain to the rest of us how 'it is clear' that the Universe had a beginning.

In other words what actual proof is there that the Universe had a beginning?

And, if you have NO proof AT ALL, then what are you using as evidence that the Universe had a beginning?

Which in NO way fits in with a creator. OBVIOUSLY a creator has to exist BEFORE ANY creations could have been created.

Well the 'things' you were saying God could and could not do NO one else was saying NOR claiming.

So, either that God was your God, or God, Itself, was talking to you and telling you what It does and does not do.

Or, do you have some other explanation for WHY 'you' were TELLING 'us' what 'this God' could and could not do?

"bahman" your contradiction here is obvious. There being NO solution here is also obvious. So, now either explain how there is NO contradiction, how your so-called solution could work and what 'it' is even solving, or explain to us what 'it' is here, which we are supposedly NOT understanding.

Until then your blatantly obvious contradiction here stands.

No, that leads to a regress in the creation of time. That is logically impossible unless you accept the singularity.

AND, just like ALL of the other times you have, ONCE AGAIN, FAILED ABSOLUTELY ANY 'thing' AT ALL here. THUS, leaving YOUR CLAIM here that 'it is clear' existing IN 'you' ALONE.

you have FAILED, AGAIN ABSOLUTELY, in providing ABSOLUTELY ANY 'thing' AT ALL how the Universe, laughably, could have even had a beginning. So, this CLAIM ALSO you have based on ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL except on YOUR OWN BELIEF-system.

It does NOT MATTER.

A 'regress' does NOT MEAN IMPOSSIBILITY, like you OBVIOUSLY BELIEVE 'it' DOES.

BUT, PLEASE FEEL FREE to continue on BELIEVING WHATEVER you WANT TO BELIEVE is true.
bahman wrote: Thu Jun 29, 2023 1:16 pm That is logically impossible unless you accept the singularity.
BUT for 'the singularity' to ACTUALLY WORK, and BE POSSIBLE, like 'it' IS, then you WILL HAVE TO CHANGE your IMAGINING of what 'singularity' MEANS and REFERS TO, EXACTLY.
