Why would anyone post anything about Britain, little to nothing to be thankful for, except getting rid of those pesky colonies, Most of them left by force.
I guess Doc, it's too embarrassing to post anything about the British so it looks like they have very little to be thankful for this past year.

What are you laughing at? As far as I know you are the only person rude enough to post endless bad-mannered 'surveys' about other forum members.
Could you post a link to the bad-mannered survey that he started, I seem to have missed that one.

Well I don't know where you stand on this, but I'm thankful that I'm deplorable.

You should look in the mirror before you describe anyone else as rude.
I do, I want to get a vision of politeness and civility before I face all the rude foreigners on this forum.
Or read your own comments. Passive-aggressive nastiness and unsolicited snarkiness do not qualify as 'politeness and civility'. You just can't stand anyone to criticise your precious country. It's an obnoxious bully. Its leader is an obnoxious bully. I don't take kindly to those who threaten the future for my children and everyone else on the planet. I don't tend to like mass-murderers.

They are usually removed by the moderaters quite quickly. I do realise it's not your fault. You both suffered the child abuse of being forced to worship a rag every morning. No wonder yours is a country that has far more than its fair share of irrational, arrogant nut-jobs.

Why Thankyou, can I put that on my resume?

Are you done yet? Doesn't it feel better after you've vented a bit?

Bill and Bob do not represent me, I speak for my self. If someone agrees, good for them, if someone disagrees, I can't keep them from being wrong.
Yet you admit they are Americans. And you do take sides in debates of national character. You must also admit that Trump and Clinton, possibly the two most absurd and ill fit candidates for running the local hockey club, let alone president are also Americans.
So I think this is why other find it odd that you tend to get defensive about the indefensible when it comes to the US.
That is the trouble with taking sides - it leads to exceptionalism.

I have to inform you that YOU are the foreigners.
This is a British website and magazine, and it is sadly frequented by foreigners who keep going on about 'freedumb' but can't find a US site to spew their contemptuous ideas, because of censorship.

I agree Trump and Clinton are not the best people for the office, I have said that if anyone else was running other than Hillary, I would vote for them. I have also said before "The people who should be in office, don't want the job, and the people who want the job, shouldn't have the office." So we are left with picking the best of the worst.

If it were a British site, then only Brit's could get on, but the internet and this site are international and anyone can get on, even Brit's, which really lowers the standards.

Hobbes is American. He just prefers to live elsewhere (probably because he prefers to live outside the asylum). Not everyone wants to live in the US (doc made that ridiculous claim recently).

Tsk tsk Hobbes (or is it Hog Rider as you keep forgetting), you've never heard of the World Wide Web?
