Hobbes. You may be familiar with the comedy of the Australian raconteur Barry Humphries who was very popular in the UK for a long time. One of his confected characters was a raucous loud-mouthed slob called Sir Les Patterson who was portrayed as the Australian cultural attache and spokesman for the Yartz. He was fond of referring to the female pubic region as the "map of Tasmania" and to this day I can't look at a map of my country without being reminded of the striking resemblance.

What do you reckon it means, fishy? Is Les saying something about your god or my country or something about me?

How a rational knower of God analyses the 'fingerprints' of God.
1. Its South America
2. The English saying: A chill up your spine? Chile - the spine of the image.
3. BRAzil - the over large tit of BRAzil.
4. On the nipple of the Bra - a city named NATAL: dict. Of or relating to child-birth.

What an atheist - or more to the point - a wanker atheist projects for DISINFORMATION.

If that is what it refers to then Tasmania is very fishy indeed!!

I'm going to have to have a look - in memory of Dame Edna.

PS. Yeah I see what you mean. And Flinders and King Islands give it bikini straps. Cockle creek is well named. And Flinders and King Islands give it bikini straps I' gowin south mate!!!

Depictions of maps for the purpose of allegory are known.
For example

Image

The Flaying of Marsayas might at first glance be a exposition of a mythical story, but when you look more deeply the configuration of the body bears a likeness to the map of Cyprus. When we also learn that the picture is contemporaneous with the Turkish invasion and may precede the the battle of Lepanto, the image takes on a new meaning. Whilst negotiations of the surrender of Famagusta were going on the Turks killed and flayed Marco Antonio Bragadin the commander of the defence. It is thought this picture recalls that treachery. The death was used to invoke revenge of the Venetians.

What fishy is doing, is doing things backwards. He is attributing a preconceived image and imposing it on the world; rather than taking a part of the world and creating of it a new image. A psychiatrist would find this interesting. For me is is simply risible.

Hobbes. I told fishy a while ago about seeing the face of Jesus in my morning slice of toast. Then I realised I'd forgotten to put my specs on and after I did so I discovered it was only Billy Connolly. As you can imagine I was a shattered man.

Ooo..its another "miracle".

After a morning of taking shit from the sage\God and calling Christ a few nasty nouns, i went home for a nicotine fix (i try not to smoke at work).

As i inhaled and leaned back on the wall at the back of my house i felt a spike in my spine..'ouch!' i turned around to see a nail driven into the cement between the bricks right where i usually lean as i smoke. It was aged as if it had been there all along, i couldn't pull it out. The NAIL. Sorry Christ!

A quote of mine, to all you mindless atheists: 'Reality is a convoluted apparition of the truth.'

Address the points in my OP, the evidence will become evident, as obviously right now you see none.

Billy!! Praise the Lord!!

i thinking of doing a series of slices of toast bearing the image of famous people embedded in clear resin.
By using a stencil and gentle spraying the toast with water, the toasting ought to leave blank the area that is moist.
Watch this space.

FUCKOFF - you derailing waste of space.
Yeah, gone are the days when atheists on this forum had the balls to go one on one. And they were intelligent atheists - true philosophers the likes of Chaz Wyman and Arising_uk.
Twats like you attempting to draw in your mindless comrades are pathetic.

What do you think about children who believe in Santa and claim to have seen his sleigh flying through the night sky? What do you think about adults who believe that Jews have horns? What do you think about entire societies that thought that their rituals caused rain to fall? Do any of these believers deserve to be mocked or would it be more helpful to understand how any of these thoughts came to be and how to get to the truth behind the thought?

Are you suggesting i draw comparison in belief in flying reindeer and belief that a large proportion of Israelis walk around with horns protruding with the same skepticism to consideration of our reality being formed by another intelligent being?

That's rational?

I'm more interested in the phenomenon of accepting a belief as true.

The OP reminds me of the "God Code". The Bible was put thru a computer and via equal spacing many correct predictions were found (911 etc). However, they also put "Moby Dick" thru the same process and came up with correct predictions. Either Mellville is God or its just that patterns can be found everywhere. Like faces in wallpaper. I prefer to think that Mellville was not God.
