I suppose one "thing" that would be required to convince me would be to have some sort of ability to "pierce my soul" in some sort of disarming way that would leave some sort of lasting effect upon me (hopefully a good one). Yes, I think I understand what you mean. And it can't be just a message because anybody can come up with a message, and who's to say it's divinely inspired? I think it has to be something more indirect, like mystical coincidences that seem to come out of nowhere and beyond anybody's control. Like for instance, English gematria simplex (A=1 to Z=26). The Greek form of Jesus (Iesous) adds up to 888 in classical Greek gematria (one above the mystical perfection of 777). Iesous adds up to 88 in E.g.s., Christ to 77, mankind to 66 and Satan to 55. Mankind is positioned between Christ and Satan in Ouzo combinations (like the bidding game of Ouzo). Interesting. Isn't mankind supposed to be 5 and Satan 666 or something like that, though? Numerology is a bit iffy for me as a sign of someone being a prophet. I'm diagnosed schizoaffective and have had delusional episodes that resembled such notions of "cosmic coincidences" and what not. I'm stabilized on meds now and see the difference so I'm more than a little skeptical about "signs" from God and stuff like that. However, I don't rule out the possibility that there may exist some truly "enlightened" or "mystical" state of being where a person can radiate some sort of influence over others that is somehow above and beyond the norm or whatever. I don't know if it should be called "charisma" or "aura" or what, but I guess there's a little superstition in me since I've read of so called "mystic experiences" which other (very noteworthy) individuals have supposedly had.bobevenson wrote:Yes, I think I understand what you mean.
