So do me a favor and STFU until you dedicate a minimum of 1000 hours of deep meditative practice.
You can't accept that your perspective is a lower state of Self-Awareness than the one I am relating so you deny that such a state exists. You're delusional and in denial. This is the last time I will respond to your posts.
You are the one who needs to STFU until you dedicate a minimum of 1000 hours to practicing how not to be a forum buffoon.
Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.

It's crap, Roy.there is a higher level of Awareness
No, I'm not...and neither are you.you are God
I say it's crap.you tell me that my perspective doesn't or cannot even exist
I am pretty remarkable, yeah.your incredibly powerful ego
I have all the authority I need: I'm a free man.You have zero authority
Kiss my ass, Roy.So do me a favor and STFU until you dedicate a minimum of 1000 hours of deep meditative practice.
Promises, promises. This is the last time I will respond to your posts.
Re: Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.
Judge not lest ye be judged. This one here is abiding in pure bliss, and thought free awareness, and that's all thanks to Roy's message. So it's probs not wise to make an error of judgement about whether I am or not, it's not your call to make, when it's my experience here for sure, and you have no way of ever disproving my experience.Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Tue Aug 30, 2022 8:37 pmYeah, it's what I was talking about.
It wasn't an essay about Zebras either.
It was about wanting however. And that was a response to RoyDAM's seeming judgment.
Dusk is lovely.
Don't forget I'm the one who recognises Roy's message to be irrefutable truth. Whereas you think the permanent bliss state is crap...I disagree, it's not crap, it's real, very very real.
If you want to crap here, then use a toilet, don't do it here. Being told to shut up is asking you to listen to the silence that can be heard between the mental thought stream of thoughts. That gap, space that's vying for attention, but goes unnoticed because it often gets crapped on, forcing it to stay hidden...but Roy's message, OUR message is offering the chance to close the gap for good. To bring light to the hidden and reveal the open secret and to burn ignorance in it's blindingly obvious presence.
The truth of being cannot be made known while we are too busy yelling our heads off at each other, what you feed will grow, obsuring the truth even more, meanwhile, what really matters, what's really important here, is the real self, that pure space of awareness is always looking on in complete detachment. It never competes for domination, because it lives in pure peace, thought free bliss...permanently forever, effortlessly.
And I'm just so happy I met Roy, because without knowing he had made these videos...I would still be missing the last piece of the puzzle...and now I'm in love, I'm finally in love, true love, the true agape love, for the very first time, all thanks to Roy's videos.
Re: Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.
Nope, he never said you must do...you are the one who added the word MUST....no one is forcing you to see this...Roy simply offered a way to see bliss - he left instructions, but until you put those instructions into play... what's on offer, will remain unavailable for you.Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Tue Aug 30, 2022 10:01 pmAnd who are they telling what they must do? You can only believe what is real for you. If you believe Roy's message is not worthy of attention and practice, then you won't know what is being offered, and you'll just go on being criticial. The proof is in the pudding.
As Ken Wilber so aptly wrote: It's ONE TASTE.

Oh, that's right you did didn't you Harbal, but know, there is a permanent cure for friction, if it is a problem Harbal...seems like it could be a problem for you, if you have to bring it up to the surface of your mind? and lay it bare for everyone reading to examine?
There's a permanent cure for that problem, but you won't find it in Friction...probs best not to cause it in the first place. Roy's videos will show you how to erase friction from ever being an issue ever again.
But then that's what you get when you rub two surfaces together, you get friction...best not get into the two surface trap and stay below the surface where true bliss resides and looks on in complete detachment.
This is all totally free, it has no charge.
Electric charge, which can be positive or negative, occurs in discrete natural units and is neither created nor destroyed.
To charge or not to charge...to rage or not to rage, it's all in the game. And the game is to end that game. To close the trap door shut, once and for all. To shut your trap.

They dont represent the true knowledge.
Just dont give up with the idea of Advaita just because you see this poor intelectual aproach.
Roy’s defensiveness indicates that conditions have made Roy into an agent, perhaps unwittingly, for transmitting wrathful guardian energy to protect what is precious.

Re: Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.
You do have an interest, if only a passing curiosity.
What keeps novice practitioners of meditation coming back for more is that meditation cleans the doors of perception, which are the sensory gates, and this is quite noticeable early on because it’s closer to the contrast of what was. Everything is brighter, new, and one perceives new things that have always been there but went unnoticed. This is heady but in time, equanimity levels out the novelty and naturally integrates wonder into daily living.
What turns off theoreticians is that non-intellectual meditation is all about the doing of not-doing, rather than thinking of not-doing.
Re: Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.
An interest in meditation, you mean? Yes, I am curious about the effects and benefits it has for those who practice it, but it doesn't appeal to me enough to make the effort of trying it myself.
Re: Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.
Curiosity killed the cat.
In order to come back alive, you first need to die.
As for effort, there is no effort to be. And one mans trash is another mans treasure.
There is nothing wrong with us...we are all right. Alright! You're always alright. Always right.

You say this yet you and Roy have repeatedly judged and talked about other people's experience. Hypocrite.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 6:00 am Judge not lest ye be judged. I never said the permanent bliss thing was crap. I believe that was Henry. In any case it was not me.Don't forget I'm the one who recognises Roy's message to be irrefutable truth. Whereas you think the permanent bliss state is crap...I disagree, it's not crap, it's real, very very real.
See, that's the thing. You assume I do not know the state you are describing. But I do. And from the inside. You assume that I haven't met other people like this. But I have. You keep assuming you need to explain how one can suffer and yet not suffer the suffering. But you don't. I understand that. My difference with you and Roy does not come from doubting these states. It has to do with what is happening outside the awareness of people like Roy. You both have made a choice, a set of priorities. If that is what you want great. But despite this you cannot possibly imagine that for others they might both know what choice you are making but value different things about LIFE.
And you keep telling me what to do and what not to do.If you want to crap here, then use a toilet, don't do it here
It is telling me to shut up. And now you reexplain it. Everything you guys say, then means something else when it is convenient or when the obvious is pointed out to you.Being told to shut up is asking you to listen to the silence that can be heard between the mental thought stream of thoughts.
And again, you are assuming I cannot be silent, cannot have thought free awareness. Because of course I'd be on your team, be your fluffer.
I don't see you living any of this. Look, DAM, I don't log in to a philosophy forum to not use words. I am silent and non-verbal in other parts of my life. The truth of being cannot be made known while we are too busy yelling our heads off at each other, what you feed will grow, obsuring the truth even more, meanwhile, what really matters, what's really important here, is the real self, that pure space of awareness is always looking on in complete detachment. It never competes for domination, because it lives in pure peace, thought free bliss...permanently forever, effortlessly.![]()
Right here I am being told not to yell by someone who keeps telling me to shut up, who reads my mind, makes negative comments about me, lectures me about things I already learned long ago becaue he assumes he knows my category, who gets repeatedly pissed off when people react perfectly naturally to a variety of things in the way you and Roy approach them. Yes, some people may judge Roy based on their assumptions. If you keep getting pissed off and judging them back, well...it's really working well isn't it? And now this person, you, wants me to be silent and just listen. Hypocrite.
Great then enjoy that. I don't see why you need to shit on me. Just keep enjoying what you've got. It seems to me if you followed your advice that you are telling me to follow, you could just share what is working for you. You don't need me to do anything, or be different obviously. You stll have your bliss and love and Roy.And I'm just so happy I met Roy, because without knowing he had made these videos...I would still be missing the last piece of the puzzle...and now I'm in love, I'm finally in love, true love, the true agape love, for the very first time, all thanks to Roy's videos.
Re: Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.
I’ve noticed that you notice things that others don’t notice but are right there and obvious, which is why I earlier mentioned that if you have no need for meditation, then don’t pursue it, and the fact that you know you have no need, is the wisdom of self-knowledge.
What irritates Roy is your resistance to what he knows is of great benefit to everyone, and this creates frustration, which is an element of duhkha.
In fact, Sri Ramana Maharshi, who Roy references as an inspiration, said that meditation was for folks of a particular capacity. Roy is obviously of that capacity. So am I. You are not.
This in no way implies a limitation in you or Roy or me, but rather, it indicates differing proclivities. Meditation is a way to jnani in much the same way that folks process information visually, or aurally, or tactically, or conceptually.
However, meditation enables one to evolve into the capacity to pursue what Sri Ramana Maharshi advocated as the most effective for those who need to do something *, and that is what he called Self-Enquiry. Self-enquiry is just what it says, and it is an intellectual method, and that makes it different from non-conceptual awareness.
Jnani is the river of understanding that all paths flow into. And why is this? Because a human birth is a rare and precious birth, because a human has the intelligence to integrate all that is within his reach to advantage, when necessary, and that makes a human different from an animal.
* The highest form of transmission is the silence that roars.

Yes, and it's a filthy job but someones got to do it. To make a mess, is to clean the mess. It's tricky.
Only the best philosophers of all time will leave the greatest mess as they depart this world.
Nature abhors a vacuum...space cannot be filled, it's already full, don't be dumping here, or I'll be forced to get my Henry out... a gain.

Re: Someone, everyone, please take this seriously.
You used the imperative again and again with me. Roy is also giving orders.
..
Notice the bullshit slide..you are the one who added the word MUST....no one is forcing you to see this.
You both give orders. I point this out. Then you say 'no one is forcing you.' Well, duh. I never said that. Where have I given the impression that I think when you tell me to do something I do it. That I am forced by your orders? Nowhere.
I had done what he told Henry to do over three decades ago. You have no idea what you are talking about...Roy simply offered a way to see bliss - he left instructions, but until you put those instructions into play... what's on offer, will remain unavailable for you.
Sure. You can only believe what is real for you. If you believe Roy's message is not worthy of attention and practice, then you won't know what is being offered, and you'll just go on being criticial. The proof is in the pudding.
Ken Wilber also explains how someone who is in these states can have huge blind spots in other areas and no amount of meditation can clean them out. But this is entirely off the board for you guys. You think that the nondual state or free awareness whatever state if stablized means that you have cleaned up all sorts of, for example, interpersonal dynamics problems. But it doesn't, can't. And given how often you contradict yourself, tell me to do things that you don't do or to stop doing things that you do do, for example. How much you judge but then tell others not to judge. How much you assume while not noticing your own assumptions, you fit perfectly what he is talking about with great clarity. Not that one needs a book to notice it.As Ken Wilber so aptly wrote: It's ONE TASTE.
And this is interesting. I have certainly encountered people like this before, but I have more experience now. And it is actually stunning to watch you miss over and over the same things about yourself. Always assuming the you have the overview and I, for example do not, because I couldn't possibly know what you are experiencing. So, this assumption makes it easy for you to be totally impervious to feedback. Like any born again Christian would be.

She’s obviously a petty tyrant. Everyone knows that. Are you trying to stop her from being a petty tyrant? If you are, and are doing so for the sake of humanity, then don’t worry about it. Everyone here has obviously learned how to handle the noise.
