I'm tired and unimpressed with it all. I'm not anti-gay, just anti the misplaced forced enthusiasm that requires civic celebration of it, be it parades and interpersonal congragulations. I don't have to do this usually with other types of people. And I like that about those people.... they don't care if I don't care about them. I want to live in a society without parades. No military parades. No high school thanksgiving or home coming parades. No gay pride parades. Keep the noise levels down and your pants on when in public.
You know what makes Ground Hogs Day so great? It asks nothing of you. I don't have to believe or participate in that little rodent, and it doesn't give a damn about you or me. It just wakes up, looks.... and a small town in PA looks on in anticipation. Nobody is ostracized for not playing along with the fantasy. Best Holliday ever. Makes you want to believe, just a little.
It is just an extended groin consciousness; heterosexuality, given too much time to ponder, is also groin consciousness; either way, it is not an accomplishment and is devoid of intellect. Sexuality is the will of the species; it is blind, and if prevented, will mutate into all kinds of weird behaviours. Genders are two aspects of one thing, species.

Why are there no straight pride parades? Or cancer pride parades? Maybe gay acceptance parade is more appropriate that gay pride parade. I have reservations about being proud of anything. I'm not even proud of being human.

It is conditioning, but who decides what the general public is to be conditioned into accepting is a bit of a mystery. I think it began when the feminist movement embraced the gay cause as its own, forming a united front. I don't know if there are other aspects to this power, but it is a powerful political front. The same political front, I believe, is responsible for the idea of multiple genders and the transgender movement, and subjecting children to gender surgeries before the age of reason has even set in. To me, it is a movement of emotion over reason, and it comes up with extraordinary, socially irresponsible visions of what the future should look like. There is some backlash, but generally only after significant damage has been done to those they have manipulated into very unhealthy modes of thought.

I'm straight and tired of bank and corporate pride

I not anti-corporate or anti-bank, but I'm just tired of being harrassed all the time by them in a million different ways we are all aware of. I am tired of banks and other financial institutions figuring out how to make money without producing anything, while dominating supposed democratic processes.
I don't know if these organizations are one of the letters in the ever lengthening LGBTQ whatever, but I guess you can color me corporation- and bank-phobic.
The problems these organizations lead to are nothing compared to the problems created by the L etc. community. I know the latter is the root of so many economic problems and the lack of justice and wars and so on.
Call my bank/corporate phobia a pet peeve by comparison. Some day I will focus on the really important stuff.
