When I first got my 16-track, analog (reel-to-reel) tape recorder for my little studio back in the 80s, one of the first bands I recorded was a progressive jazz group called
"Turning Point."
They blasted out all of the songs of their planned studio album in one night, with a few overdubs to follow later on.
Unfortunately, the extremely talented sax player (Wilton Machen), keyboard player (Robert Van Stee), and the flute player/percussionist (Michael Sampson Sweeney) have all died since then (Machen and Van Stee also performed on the
"Carribean Escape" album mentioned in this post:

As an interesting sidenote, Randy Marsh was the drummer, and Randy's dad is
Arno Marsh who played saxophone with the likes of Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, Charlie Barnet, Lionel Hampton, Buddy Rich, and Harry James.
Anyway, I can't seem to find any of the tracks from their album online, so I recently transferred one of their songs from an old cassette they marketed back then.
I still remember how sonically huge the original track sounded back in my big studio monitors. Unfortunately, it has lost a great deal of that sonic quality going from 16-track, then to half-track mix down, then to commercial cassette (almost 40 years old now), then to a compressed MP3.
Nevertheless, here it is:
