Your list forgot to mention "defund police". Or does "military" cover it?
For the discussion of all things philosophical.

I guess they're "freedom fighters" in someone's book.

Yeah. I wonder if it has something to do with it being election time.henry quirk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 11:25 pmthe injustices foisted up by smokin' joe and harris the 'ho?Gary Childress wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 11:21 pm Remember that one time Trump supporters were concerned about injustices that were happening to minorities...

My guess is that besides crying foul play, trump will refuse to leave the white House and his post, if he loses. I am not much aware of presidential power according to US laws but my fear is that he may impose emergency or invoke military to keep him as president. On the other hand, nothing dramatic will happen if Biden loses.Immanuel Can wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 5:27 pmI'm betting there's controversy either way.henry quirk wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 5:20 pmI'm wonderin' the same thing about the houseplant named bidenGary Childress wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 4:18 pm Just wondering if Trump will concede to a loss if he loses.

If Trump wins, the Bidenettes will all scream that there wasn't enough mail-in voting counted into the mix, so the results are inauthentic and have to be disregarded. If Biden wins, it will be by mail-in voting, which will immediately open up reasonable suspicions of fraud. So what sense is there in capitulating to a fraudulent vote-count? That's not democracy, obviously, and as long as the votes can't be trusted, who's the real President?
The only way to real beat all that is to cancel mail-in voting, and make people show up with ID in hand to vote like voting should be done. But neither side is willing to do because of public fears of COVID, no matter how irrational those fears are in regard to voting.
So it's going to be a mess. I'm pretty certain of that.
