After listening to debates re Jordan Peterson, I find he is a 'weasel' and 'eel' in becoming an theistic-religion apologist.
I'm becoming more and more convinced to be honest, that our local resident PN poster IC, is actually Jordan Peterson in real life.

Yes, I would like to know that as well. I listened to a small part of the video and I lost interest. You know, the Bible, evolution, etc. is not my take.
You and me both, brother. Though many feel that providing a one liner and a link is befitting for you to invest more than an hour in a random video of unknown quality.
Yup!

Yes, I would like to know that as well.
My synopsis regarding the OP is...never mind, it wouldn't interest you anyway. That kind of stuff/opinions about the Bible, evolution, God or no God etc ...It's not your take.

But you are welcome to pop by to tell me you're lack of interest anytime you like. :)

Just out of curiosity, do either one of them get around to addressing these components of religious faith:
1] a demonstrable proof of the existence of God
2] addressing the fact that down through the ages hundreds of Gods and religious/spiritual paths to immortality and salvation were/are championed...but only one of which [if any] can be the true path.
3] addressing the profoundly problematic role that dasein plays in any particular individual's belief in God and religious/spiritual faith
4] the questions that revolve around theodicy and God

Can an evil & good God be proven?

God in general cannot be proven or disproven. I am simply arguing against the problem of evil. If God exists and is evil then the problem of evil is resolved.

Evil exists and can be proven to exist as a fact. Good exists and can be proven to exist as a fact.

God on the other hand is just an irrelevant idea. He’s a fictional character akin to the tooth fairy - nothing but pure make-belief.

I said if God exists and is evil then the problem of evil is resolved. You cannot disprove God. Can you?

The proposition ( IF ) is a false dichotomy.

So why make the claim below when such a proposition of there being a God or Not, is unknowable? The dichotomy of God's existence or none-existence can only be an untestable hypothesis for the human mind.
bahman wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 8:15 pm

God is good and evil.
And yet evil and good do exist as a fact in the human mind, these facts are 100% testable.

No, it is not.

I am pointing out that the problem of evil which states that natural evil exists cannot disprove God's existence if God is evil as well.

What's the fact that evil and good exists, got to do with an unprovable unknowable God?

I already mentioned that. I am not here to argue the existence of God. I am saying that God cannot be disproven considering natural evil.
