I suspect it won't be difficult. Putin will want out -- and some face-saving measure should be sufficient to get the job done. There isn't a win in the present situation for him, so he'll be ready to deal.

I saw people waving nazi flags among the "conservative" participants in the demonstrations that were shown on the news covering Charlottesville's "unite the right" demonstration. Does that count?

A person can disagree with you about politics without being a "Nazi." There are no actual Nazis today, and haven't been for half a century now. The most you'll find is a few posers and skinheads who want to wear swastika tatoos in a vain attempt to be "edgy". But Nazism is not coming back...unless you count Antifa as that, which is possible: they use all the same tactics...demonizing the opposition, destroying businesses, silencing critics, burning things down, and a perverse preoccupation with race. But other than them, you're just out of luck for Nazis.

But I have met many dedicated and sincere individuals who have practiced activism on behalf of troubled people. The ones I have met don't wave flags used by Hitler youth and don't condone violence. Though I have never participated, there are sincere eyewitness stories I have personally heard from participants in demonstrations who shouted down vandalism during the protests that they held over the shootings of humans with black skin who had done nothing to deserve being shot. I'm told demonstrators will customarily shout things like "not in our community" when stuff like that starts to happen on the part of angry and perhaps "edgy" people who come to the demonstrations and do their own personal demonstrations involving vandalism.

Were there shouts at Charlottesville among the "right" to take down the Nazi flags? If so, then I will acknowledge them. If not, then why were there no such pleas on behalf of those at the demonstrations such as the one at Charlottesville?

If Mick Stinks calls him a Nazi then he most likely isn't one. IC is just a kristian. No way is he a Nazi.

I don't think he's a Nazi. He doesn't want to have anything to do with them, that is clear. However, I think he's misguided and is not looking at what is going on among some he's defending nor with some he's accusing of deciet. I took him to be saying that there are no such things as "Neo-Nazis." If I am wrong and there are no such things as "Neo-Nazis" then I am wrong. However, I don't know what else to call someone who waves a flag that pretty much every human being in my country generally knows to associate with murder and genocide. If that didn't happen in Nazi Germany, then I'm also wrong.

I think that adding 'neo' to it simply allows wonkers like Mick Stinks to give anyone who disagrees with him a label with the word 'Nazi' in it. A Nazi is a Nazi.
