It's uncharted because it hasn't happened since WWI and the Spanish flu but it's not been unexpected as the epidemiologists have been waiting for this for decades.

Can you stock up on enough supplies to last until the spring? Lucky you. Even then it may not go away, in fact it'll probably never go away but hopefully in about 18 months we'll have a vaccine, shame for the anti-vaxers tho', although I think we'll find they suddenly like the idea of a vaccine.

Lol, you don't go to hospital much do you? There haven't been enough beds for decades. Plus you said above that we should be isolating them a la the Chinese and we can't keep them in general hospitals as there are ill people there who may well get infected and die.
Still, one good thing is that if it does hit the worst case when its all over we may well re-examine the privatising-out of the non-medical staff in the NHS as this zero-hours race to the bottom has led to low standards with respect to hygiene and we might well reconsider this public open-house visiting hours policy in the name of convenience to the visitors rather than the old restricted visiting hours that allowed proper cleaning procedures.

However, by-an-large those that should be concerned are the old, ill or very unhealthy, the rest of 'us' will mainly get a temperature and feel ill for a while. What we don't know is if we can catch it more than once, that may well be an issue.

Although I'm very surprised you're bothered at all? As according to you there is no birth or death, there is no 'you' to be infected, it's all just an illusion affecting no-one so you should be just fine.

Take a look, all impoverished countries where women are kept from employment and education have high family birth-rates, the Chinese and Indian civilizations have been around a long-time so their numbers have built due to their civic stability. It's clear that the best population control has been women getting the opportunity of education and economic employment hence the neutral or falling birth-rates in the 'west'.

That's right, I'm personally not bothered. Afterall, upon awakening from a dream, it is seen that although the dream seemed real, actually, nothing ever happened. Nothing happens in a dream.

My character script in the movie involves everything I have said on this thread. It's just what appears to happen albeit not really happening.

I trust in the ways of the universe, call it nature / god or whatever, I have no fear of anything that can make something out of nothing. Or even if everything has always existed eternally then what is there to fear, there is absolutely nothing at all to fear. As I surrender totally to God's ways, I know my life will be effortless. I shall know no fear.

We're all just creating the drama out of nothing. And we do it because there is nothing else to do. It's all but a dream anyway, and anything can happen in a dream, albeit not happening.
