Is this a corruption of philosophy?
Do a search of all my comments then and you will find I have defined it often (on deaf ears).

You’ve already attempted to define liberalism by writing about what you think liberalism is not, followed by rhetorical questions that attempt to equate liberalism with principles without reasoning. Such methodology puts no giddiup under my research saddle.

Not specifically me. We all saw the photos. He was a journalist and we were all brought up politically aware and anti war. And I don't have to justify anything. As I've said, I don't like anything about you or your country, except perhaps the trees and excellent quality of American-made products (few and far between now). It 'is what it is'.
Why the trees? What makes American trees so special?

I get the impression that Americans really love their trees. Even New York City is full of them.
Some do love them, especially rhe dogs. You should look up Central Park and Prospect Park (Brooklyn).

I love house renovation shows on TV and I've noticed the Americans always say how much they love the trees. Here, home buyers would more than likely cut them down because 'the leaves might get in the guttering'.

What’s the difference between liberalism and socialism these days?
Liberalism - i'm a liberal BTW - affirms Natural Law (the universal humanism of Locke/etc).

I support the Natural Law of self defense and Jury Pardon (FIJA.org).the latter a Common Law right/power of a jury to pardon the guity - if the law is immoral.

vegetariantaxidermy wrote: Fri May 18, 2018 2:50 am Here's a clue. 'Liberal' does NOT mean ''those annoying twits who bang on about things like 'postgenderism', 'identity fluidity', are constantly waggling their fingers at others while using the 'r' word (apparently mirrors are in very short supply in their world), believe they hold the moral high-ground for the entire human race and are therefore qualified to dictate to others what they can say and even what they should think (sounds familiar), and are generally hypocrites and wankers of the highest order''. Those abominations are NOT liberal.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and thank you!

Liberalism has a foundation of liberty and equality while socialism has a foundation of controlling the marketplace by the community as a whole.
oh, i see. thanks for clarification.

per Phil's reply - and i understood it.

if you are willing and knowing that these two nations are now independent from each other - to become a more informed "global citizen" - if you are willing.

can you tell me when NZ and Australia become independant from Crown rule (I know it is "foggy" - as per my understanding of Canada - i assume it is the same for your nation as well - "stages" and such).

did NZ become independant prior or latter than Aussies?

etc.

I'm just an ignorant American - we had our "hard break" and so know when we were no longer under Crown rule (1782?).

welcome education Madam.

???? "under the Crown" - no.

but would welcome your education toward me to know when either become independent.

from my understanding of Australia (which i know a little more about) - she had a "constitution" (or declaration? or some such) around 1910 (give or take) and so Aussie thought they (viewed themselves as) they were independant..........until the PM in the 70's was removed by the Queen (fully legal under the Rule of Law per England/Australia) - assues were in uproar,...did they make laws after to prevent a re-accurance of - or just hoping that the same will not happen again?

i know nothing about NZ and hope you can educate me on your Nation's soverienty/laws.

know nothing about Maghan, but Harry seems like a good guy and so i think there should be little doubt that if they have kids they will be raised as liberals.

I am sure they will be do-gooding bores just like their parents.
from what i've heard of Harry's character i think you should allow more charity here.

time will tell of course.
